Yoga in the Therapy Session

This workshop is designed for therapists who want to bring yoga informed practices into their therapy sessions in a way that feels comfortable, ethical, and clinically appropriate.

The focus is not on teaching yoga classes, but on integrating simple, practical tools that support nervous system regulation, knowledge and use of new tools to create new avenues of therapeutic growth,  and deepen therapeutic work.

One Day Workshop For Therapists

Yoga in the Therapy Session

Many of our clients have never truly experienced calm in their bodies. Even when clients want to feel better, their nervous systems often return to familiar patterns of hypervigilance, overthinking, or emotional shutdown.

We often work with thoughts and insight—but when the nervous system is activated, cognitive approaches alone may not always be enough.

This workshop explores how therapists can integrate simple, yoga-informed practices into therapy sessions to teach clients to regulate their nervous systems and reconnect with their bodies.

These tools can help clients shift in the moment—moving out of reactivity and into a sense of calm, sometimes for the first time.

The goal is to give you practical, effective techniques you can use right away to help your clients regulate, settle, and reconnect.

Are you interested in this experiential workshop?

This is an opportunity to learn practical, forward-thinking skills that integrate seamlessly into therapy, including elements of CBT, EMDR, somatic work, breathwork, movement, meditation, and nature-based approaches.

Many clients today feel stuck in cycles of overthinking and emotional reactivity. They are often caught in the constant “chatter” of the mind and have difficulty accessing a sense of calm, perspective, and purpose. These practices help create space between reaction and response—supporting clients in regulation, calming the spiraling mind, and reconnecting with a deeper sense of clarity and direction. This approach offers therapists a way to help clients step off the roller coaster of reactivity and begin engaging with their lives in a more grounded, intentional way.

I would love to connect with you and hear about your work, your clients, and what would make a training like this most valuable for you or your practice.
